Our Company

Contract Medical Manufacturing (CMM) was founded in 2001 with a focus on developing medical products, and since then has developed a variety of products for use in numerous medical arenas. Likewise, numerous patents were granted on the success of these products. While the facility is geared to handle manufacturing and assembly of medical devices, there are always opportunities to order custom single parts or components. No job is too small.

We are located right off Interstate 84 in Oxford, Connecticut, halfway between Boston and New York City.

Managing Partner
Richard J. Deslauriers, MD

Doctor Deslauriers received a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Haven, and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Toronto. Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Deslauriers was employed in the medical device field working as a Project Engineer for Johnson & Johnson Medical. He continued his employment with Johnson & Johnson Medical throughout his first two years of medical school and during his third and fourth years was employed by Medtronic Interventional Vascular. Upon graduating medical school, Dr. Deslauriers founded what is now Contract Medical Manufacturing, LLC.

Partner/President
Patrick Brandon

Patrick received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst and has nearly twenty years experience in the medical device industry. Patrick began his career at United States Surgical Corporation (currently Covidien) advancing to the position of Manager for the Mechanical Products Division supporting annual sales over $400M. Patrick joined the company in 2001 as the Operations Manager.
